There are a number of different ways to add CarPlay to a car after the fact, but some of them are more difficult than others. The simplest way is to buy a standalone display that supports CarPlay, but doesn't require any extensive modifications of retrofitting in your car.

Methodology
The Plus runs a lightly earlier version of Android 12 than the Ultra but the experience is just the same. With a new Settings screen and pull-down menu, which are a lot cleaner and more modern than earlier Android operating systems. Other than this, that’s the only real visual difference in this new version of Android that sits underneath this clunky and rather dated-looking user interface. But for the time being, and until CarPlay 2.0 is ready, in-car systems are being kept firmly separate. In the meantime some carmakers do offer CarPlay in a split-screen mode, ensuring you have access to both your phone and car systems while you're driving. From here, both car platforms behaved responsively to touch input, with the usual common Wi-Fi traits of a slight 1-2 second delay in music and navigation audio, whilst Android Auto continues to use the older full-screen mode on this AI Box. Multimedia Box is simply an Android operating system box that users can plug into their CarPlay using the USB port. It also helps to replace the Apply CarPlay with an Andriod OS system that is fully functional.This is yet another, rather familiar looking AI box for Carplay systems that offers a medium-level processor, a modern UI with lots of additional functionality and visuals, and there is the usual 4G SIM and SD card support, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto support, video casting and video streaming from some pre-installed apps including YouTube, Hulu, Disney+ and Netflix on your CarPlay display.
